Luminescence data associated with late Quaternary activity along the South Granite Mountains fault system, central Wyoming
October 27, 2026
This dataset contains 21 traditional luminescence ages and ~900 portable optically stimulated luminescence (pOSL) measurements collected from the South Granite Mountains fault (SGMF) in central Wyoming. Traditional and portable luminescence techniques were used to help interpret colluvial wedge development, which support long recurrence intervals (13 to 68 ka) and a low late Quaternary vertical slip rate (on the order of 0.05 mm/yr) for this fault.
