Shorthead and silver redhorse movement data from Lake Erie and the Sandusky and Cuyahoga Rivers, Ohio USA from 2022 to 2025
February 9, 2026
Data include locations where shorthead redhorse (Moxostoma macrolepidotum) and silver redhorse (Moxostoma anisurum) were detected following tagging events in the Sandusky and Cuyahoga Rivers, Ohio, USA. Location data were obtained primarily through stationary acoustic receivers, with additional locations from radio towers and mobile acoustic and radio surveys in the Cuyahoga River. The Great Lakes Acoustic Telemetry Observation Network (GLATOS) was queried to obtain detections from receivers made from multiple projects.
