Sierra Nevada Tree Mortality Data for Global Analysis

These data were collected as part of the USGS Sierra Nevada Forest Dynamics Study. They include tree mortality data from 30 plots located along an elevational gradient in the Sierra Nevada of California from 1982 to 2019. Although the data were collected annually, for purposes of compatibility with a global analysis, they were abstracted to five-year census intervals.
