Surveyed coordinates and elevations in a 2019 survey of new and previously established cross sections on the Green River in Browns Park, Colorado and Utah
These data were compiled for the National Park Service. Objective(s) of our study were to resurvey previously established cross sections on the Green River in Browns Park, Colorado and Utah, to document changes in channel width, depth, and cross-sectional area. In addition, new cross sections were established in areas that lacked previously surveyed cross sections. These data represent the 2019 resurvey coordinates and elevations of previously established cross sections (1994 - 2005) on the Green River. These data were collected in the Green River in Browns Park, Utah and Colorado from October 9-13, 2019. These data were collected by Ronald Griffiths and Joel Unema from the U.S. Geological Survey using real-time kinematic GPS positioning. These data can be used to locate previously surveyed cross sections and compute channel changes.
