1 inch of rain, small size, big impact - Image 2

Detailed Description

One inch of rain may sound like a small amount, but how big is the impact? Did you know:

  • One inch of rain on a roof could provide enough water for 15 people for one day
  • One inch of rain collected from a one-acre homestead could provide enough water for 247 people for one day
  • One inch of rain collected from a one-square-mile neighborhood could provide enough water for 247 people for 640 days – that’s one year and nine months!
