FIREss team planting rabbitbrush
Detailed Description
In collaboration with USFS-RMRS researchers, the FIREss team planted Rabbitbrush (Ericameria nauseosa) collected from across the West of different populations. The project will help identify differences in survival, phenology, and physiological tolerances between populations and subspecies in order to improve our understand of how best to re-establish this important shrub in disturbed sites.
