Narrabeen-Collaroy Beach, New South Wales, post June 2011 storms. The photo shows the impacts of a recent storm, with clear dune scarping visible. This sand was transported offshore into the sandbar (visible by wave breaking). Under milder waves the sand will return to the beach.
