The Landsat 7 satellite resumed imaging on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 (DOY 312) at 21:19:44Z (3:19 CST), after a recently-discovered scheduling discrepancy was resolved.

As first reported on November 7, 2023, Landsat 7 imaging was suspended to allow the USGS/NASA Flight Operations Team (FOT) to investigate a scheduling discrepancy that developed from the orbital drift of the Landsat 7 satellite. The satellite has been drifting since early 2022 when it was lowered from the typical orbit and operating in its Extended Science Mission.

The discrepancy was resolved on Wednesday, November 8th, and imaging resumed immediately. Newly acquired Landsat 7 Level-1 data are available to download from USGS data access systems.
