Aerial view of reddish Puka Nui and gap in side of Pu`u `O`o, viewed from south. Both spatter cones at top of West Gap shield visible left of Puka Nui, the larger eastern one emitting substantial fume. Floor of Pu`u `O`o crater visible through Puka Nui Gap. New lava flows are dark. Note fume from just right of new flows near Puka Nui; this is a new feature. 1131.
