Common native and nonnative plant species along the Colorado River downstream of Glen Canyon Dam. Native species are shown on the left side of the table: Emory's baccharis (Baccharis emoryi), Horsetail (Equisetum x ferrissii), Mesa dropseed (Sporobolus flexuosus), Purple threeawn (Aristida purpurea), and Cane bluestem (Bothriochloa barbinodis). Nonnative species are shown on the right side of the table: Red brome (Bromus rubens), Salt cedar (Tamarix), Bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon), Tall fescue (Schedonorus arundinceus), and Camelthorn (Alhagi maurorum).
