Professional and trained citizen scientists are using innovative techniques to sample and monitor harmful algal blooms, or HABs, in freshwater and marine environments across 18 U.S. national parks. Here, a Solid Phase Adsorption Toxin Tracking tool is deployed in Curecanti National Recreation Area, Colorado, to track toxin presence.
