Dinosaur National Monument - Dinosaur Quarry

Another view of dinosaur bones left in their original position in the high wall of the Dinosaur Quarry Visitor Center. Many types of dinosaurs have been recovered from the quarry, including Apatosaurus, Barosaurus, Camarasaurus, Allosaurus, and Stegosaurus. The dinosaurs include specimens ranging from juveniles to adults, and include both prey and predator. Bones of crocodiles and turtles, and shells of clams have also been recovered from the excavation in the Dinosaur Quarry (NPS, 2000.)
