CVO student intern Joe Bard discusses his construction of the digital database for the geologic map of Newberry Volcano during the Increasing Diversity in Earth Sciences (IDES) field trip to Newberry Caldera. The group is standing on the Big Obsidian Flow, the youngest eruption (around 1300 years ago) at Newberry.
