Detailed Description
Ripple-marks in sandstone from the Jurassic Carmel Formation. This piece was along the road near Page, Arizona. Exposures of crossbedded and ripple-bedded sandstone are common anywhere the Carmel Formation crops out along the shore of Lake Powell.
