Jumping silver carp
Detailed Description
Electrofishing silver carp on the Fox River. These fish can be up to 40 pounds and jump up to 10 feet out of the water. Here, they are trying to evade capture by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service crew, but they are often spooked by boat motor sounds and therefore are a major hazard to recreational boaters.
