Detailed Description

Cover crops planted early in the fall (right side of photo planted on October 5) can take advantage of warm soil and air temperatures, resulting in a greater amount of growth compared to cover crops planted later in the year as temperatures cool (left side of photo planted October 26, photo taken December 10).
