Detailed Description

This unnamed gorge drains from the Muddy Mountains near Milepost 37 along the Northshore Road. The wash cuts through the east end of the Long Wall Ridge escarpment. The narrow gorge is typical of many regional steams cut by episodic flash floods in a mountainous desert environment.
