Detailed Description

USGS scientists participated in the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Preserving Our Homeland summer science camp in 2023. The camp teaches students about Cape Cod land and seascapes through the lenses of tribal knowledge, history, and Western science. Four science stations were set up where Mashpee students participated in hands-on science demonstrations at the USGS Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Hazards Science Center.
