Detailed Description

National Park Service scientist using a camera paired with a GPS receiver to obtain images of Castle Geyser, Yellowstone National Park, in June 2019. The resulting 3D model is scaled for size and is also usable in a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for comparison with other datasets, such at aerial photography or marking sample locations for biological communities present within the drainage channels.
