Location 3: Oblique aerial photographs at North Topsail Beach, North Carolina. Oblique aerial photographs collected before (top) and after (bottom) Hurricane Matthew. Storm waves and surge eroded and overwashed artificial sand dunes placed at the back of the beach to protect buildings and parking lots. The yellow arrows in each image point to the same features in both photos.
