Detailed Description

An infrared image of two planes in flight, captured over  Pasadena, TX in 1971. The larger aircraft is a C-130, which was used by NASA to test sensor equipment for the Earth Resources Technology Satellite (ERTS), which was later renamed Landsat. The second aircraft is a Northrup T-38 Talon. Download via EarthExplorer.
