Phantom Ranch Tour - slope covered with rocks, Pinyon, & Utah Juniper

This view along the South Kaibab Trail shows a slope covered with blocks of rock, Pinyon and Utah Juniper. The cliffs above are Kaibab Limestone, whereas sandstone and shale beds of the Toroweap Formation are covered by talus and alluvium on the forested slope (Beus, 1987).
