Pipe Spring - restored covered wagon
Detailed Description
This restored covered wagon is typical of those used by Mormons and other pioneers and travelers in the region in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. The wagon is located on the grounds near the park Visitor Center at Pipe Spring National Monument. "Mormon" is a term used to describe those with religious and (or) cultural connections to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Pipe Spring was a Mormon settlement.
