Pipe Spring - view looking from along the Ridge Trail

This view is looking north from along the Ridge Trail across pinyon and juniper forest toward the Vermilion Cliffs near Kanab, Utah. The Sevier Fault runs across the slope in the middle of the image and continues north beyond the butte on the left. Most of the land in the vicinity of Pipe Spring belongs to the Paiute tribes. The Paiute Tribes Museum is part of the Visitor Center in Pipe Spring National Monument.
