Detailed Description

Josh Sylvester (SMU Graduate Student) deploying the HyLO heat flow probe from the bow of the skiff in Mono Lake. Computer screen provides real-time feed of probe temperature and orientation. The small black box on the water in the background is the float for one of the long-term, real-time lakefloor temperature observatories.
