South Rim Tour -view looking into the Grand Canyon from Canyon Village

This view is looking into the Grand Canyon from Canyon Village along the Bright Angel Trail. Indian Spring is highlighted by a patch of forest in the canyon (just left and below the center of the image). The trail to Plateau Point is visible above the Indian Gardens area. Bright Angel Canyon is the straight canyon on the north side of the Colorado River's inner gorge and follows the trace of the Bright Angel Fault. Phantom Ranch is located at the confluence of Bright Angel Creek with the Colorado River.
