A map of the Great Basin, including parts of Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and California. The twenty saline lakes identified by USGS partners as priority ecosystems are labeled, they include: Eagle, Honey, Mono, and Owens Lakes in California; the Great Salt Lake and Sevier Lake in Utah; Carson Lake, Carson Sink, Franklin, Pyramid, Ruby, Walker, and Winnemucca Lakes in Nevada; Lake Abert, Harney, Malheur, Silver, Summer, and the Warner Lakes in Idaho; and Goose Lake on the border of California and Oregon.
