Survey of camera calibration target
Detailed Description
USGS scientists survey the precise location of a camera calibration target. The surveyed locations are used to georeference USGS CoastCam imagery. The imagery is used to test the accuracy of the Total Water Level and Coastal Change Forecast (https://coastal.er.usgs.gov/hurricanes/research/twlviewer/) and can be used to examine a range of coastal information including waves, regular and extreme water level statistics, shoreline positions, sandbar position and movement, rip current presence, and coastal change.
