Teton Fault

This is a piece of the trench photomosaic with clear dura-lar plastic on top and notes from logging. We log things like contacts between units, faults, internal stratigraphy, sample locations, and other details. For example, the red lines in this log are faults! It's not uncommon to see more than one fault splay at the surface. At depth, they all generally merge into one fault plane.
