USGS EROS Interns Study Fire in Sequoia National Park

Hazel Mebius records field notes in Sequoia National Park. The work was part of her internship with USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Fire Science for a fieldwork campaign studying fire severity using traditional methods and lidar. A transect line is visible marking the edge of the plot being studied.
