Water temperature change from wind events in Milwaukee Inner Harbor

A simple diagram of how water temperatures can change in the inner harbor from wind-related related events that push estuary water out or lake water in causing upwelling of cold water or downwelling of warm water in summer months. These are especially pronounced where the more shallow river meets the dredged portion of the harbor (Stefaniak et al., 2024)
