Figure 2. From left to right and top to bottom: Box 1. Select the point of interest; Box 2. Up-stream navigation is performed on the centerline network and the program calls drainage catchments that have a 1:1 relation to the NHD reaches; Box 3. The catchment where the selected point of interest falls in is split in two and the sub area upstream is isolated from the remaining area; Box 4. The sub-catchment is combined with all up-stream catchments and internal boundaries are dissolved.
