Skyline above timberline is the Lassen domefield. Reading Peak, Bumpass Mountain, Mount, Crescent Crater, and hill 8283 are part of the Bumpass sequence. The flow of Kings Creek, Lassen Peak, and Chaos Crags are part of the Eagle Peak sequence. Hill 6975, Raker Peak, Fairfield Peak, Hat Mountain and Cinder Cone are vents the Twin Lakes sequence. Painted Dunes and Fantastic Lava Beds originate from Cinder Cone. Prospect Peak is a regional calc-alkaline andesite and basaltic andesite volcano. Mount Conard forms the southeast rim of the eroded amphitheater of Brokeoff Volcano.
