Detailed Description

Permanent Site: C2 West Transect; Depth: 17 Meters (Feet 55.7); Distance from river mouth: 0.7 Kilometers (0.5 Miles); Pre/Post Dam Removal: 10 months post-dam removal; Lat/Long: 48.147841,-123.57663268; Site Description: One of our deepest sites. Substrate is now entirely all sand. Algae is almost gone. Few reds are seen at 0:21, 0:30, 0:35 seconds and only a few browns are left. An Agarum fimbriatum is seen at (1:40 seconds). Featherduster tubeworms are abundant, including Eudistylia vancouveri (0:31, 1:29, 1:44 seconds) and Schizobranchia insignis (1:20 seconds). Other invertebrates seen on video: sunflower sea star Pycnopodia helianthoides (1:40 seconds), egg case of the moon snail Euspira lewisii (1:46, 1:54 seconds).
