Hi, my name is Nick Stasulis and I work with the Maine Office of the New England Water Science Center. In this video, we will discuss how to import a TRDI SxS Pro measurement file into SVMobile.

Once the measurement is completely processed and finalized, it should be imported into SVMobile. To do this, you need to select File > XML Summary File and Export. Save this XML file in the measurement directory.

Ideally, the measurement would be staged in SVMobile, which allows you to enter measurement notes while collecting data. A measurement is staged prior to collecting a measurement by selecting New Channel, entering the channel name, selecting a midsection measurement method, a deployment method, and a velocity method of ADCP. On the dialog that appears, select yes.

The acoustic information page allows you to enter applicable fields, with information on the time sync, the ADCP test, the compass calibration, as well as temperature comparisons and measurement notes. When the measurement is complete, select Done, fill out the channel information and proceed to the channel summary page. Here, right click on the channel and select Import. In the dialog that appears, navigate to the measurement directory and select the XML file you exported after processing.

Then, you can navigate through the remaining screens to finalize the channel information and measurement summary. A more detailed demonstration of the staging process in SVMobile can be found in the general videos for this series.
