USGS Seismologist Dr. Paul Earle and USGS Research Geologist Jessica Thompson Jobe spoke to the media on the Earthquake M 4.8 - 2024 Whitehouse Station, New Jersey Earthquake. They spoke and answered questions on issues including: the earthquake's behavior, aftershocks, safety, the surrounding area, the rarity of the event, what is known about potential damage, and other related issues.
