Steve Regan: Hello this is Steve Regan of
the Modeling of Watershed Systems Group.

This is a presentation in our online series
training that's going to discuss the Basin

module which defines shared watershed and
HRU physical parameters and variables.

So, the Basin module, it validates and computes
the topological characterization type parameters,

like elevation and latitude and aspect and
percent impervious and there's a whole list

there that it looks at and makes sure that
they are consistent with each other and the

ranges.

Then it computes other variables that are
used by most of the other modules.

Like it computes the total basin area, average
latitude, the portion of the HRU that is pervious,

determines the order of the segments and various
other things.

So if you have any questions about this or
other elements related to the Modeling of

Watershed Systems, you can go to our web page
and you can either click on the Help button

on our homepage or on every MOWS web page,
there's a MOWS contact form link as well.

And that form comes up and you fill that out
and send it in.

And we'll get back to you as soon as we are
able.

Thank you.
