Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Spatial mark-recapture and chew card rat data on Guam and Rota, 2018-2019 Spatial mark-recapture and chew card rat data on Guam and Rota, 2018-2019
We provide four datasets: Mark recapture and trapping effort, Grid layout, Chew cards, and Trail camera validation. Mark recapture and trapping effort has one row for every live-trap night, including the unique grid identification code, date of trap check, cumulative rain amount from the 24-hr period before the trap check, unique trap identification, trap status, unique individual rat

This data set provides sample information, microsatellite genotype, and NCBI accession numbers for mitochondrial DNA sequences of peregrine falcons (Falco peregrinus) from North America and Russia.
Database of Biodiversity, Habitat, and Aquatic Resource Quantification Tools Used for Market-based Conservation in the United States (ver. 2.0, June 2022) Database of Biodiversity, Habitat, and Aquatic Resource Quantification Tools Used for Market-based Conservation in the United States (ver. 2.0, June 2022)
This comprehensive database describes the core attributes of quantification tools developed for market-based conservation in the United States. It encompasses tools designed for compensatory mitigation, non-compensatory mitigation, and voluntary conservation/restoration programs. The dataset consists of 107 tools. Each tool's features are described using 33 attributes related to general...
Rarity and Climate Sensitivity index and components of 90 species of frogs and toads native to the conterminous United States (ver. 2.0, October 2022) Rarity and Climate Sensitivity index and components of 90 species of frogs and toads native to the conterminous United States (ver. 2.0, October 2022)
This dataset contains the components of and resultant Rarity and Climate Sensitivity (RCS) values for 90 species of frogs and toads native to the conterminous United States. The RCS metric uses point occurrences to describe area of occurrence, quantifies the variation of climate conditions within that area, and combines and scales the two for a multispecies assessment of intrinsic...
Water-level and well-discharge data related to aquifer testing in Fountain Creek alluvial aquifer, El Paso County, Colorado, 2019 Water-level and well-discharge data related to aquifer testing in Fountain Creek alluvial aquifer, El Paso County, Colorado, 2019
U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in cooperation with the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineering Center conducted short-term aquifer tests at 11 wells to estimate hydraulic properties in the Fountain Creek alluvial aquifer, in El Paso County, Colorado. Data were collected in July 2019 over three days. Single-hole pumping and recovery tests were completed at five wells, and multiple single-hole...
Seepage-run discharge measurements, November 15, 2021, He'eia Stream and 'Ioleka'a Stream, O'ahu, Hawai'i Seepage-run discharge measurements, November 15, 2021, He'eia Stream and 'Ioleka'a Stream, O'ahu, Hawai'i
This data release contains a comma-delimited ascii file of 16 discrete discharge measurements made at sites along selected reaches of He'eia Stream and 'Ioleka'a Stream, O'ahu, Hawai'i, on November 15, 2021. These discrete discharge measurements form what is commonly referred to as a "seepage run." The intent of the seepage run is to quantify the spatial distribution of streamflow along...
