Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Merged topography and bathymetry, western Prince William Sound Merged topography and bathymetry, western Prince William Sound
This work integrated multiple topographic and bathymetric data sources to generate a merged topobathymetric map of western Prince William Sound. We converted all data sources to NAD 83 UTM Zone 6 N and mean higher high water (MHHW) before compiling. In Barry Arm, north of Port Wells, we used a digital terrain model (DTM) derived from subaerial light detection and ranging (lidar) data...
Selected Peak-Flow Special Conditions for USGS Streamgages in Alaska Selected Peak-Flow Special Conditions for USGS Streamgages in Alaska
This data package documents selected special conditions affecting the magnitude of peak flows at streamgages in Alaska. The data consist of a table of special conditions for selected peak flows and a table of data sources. This dataset verifies the basis for assignment of peak-flow qualification codes in the USGS National Water Information System (NWIS; https://doi.org/10.5066/F7P55KJN)...
Major- and trace-element chemical analyses of whole-rock and glass from the Kamakaiʻa Hills of the Southwest Rift Zone of Kīlauea volcano, Hawaiʻi Major- and trace-element chemical analyses of whole-rock and glass from the Kamakaiʻa Hills of the Southwest Rift Zone of Kīlauea volcano, Hawaiʻi
This dataset includes wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WD-XRF) major-oxide and trace-element whole-rock analyses, laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) trace-element whole-rock analyses, and glass analyses by electron microprobe of scoria and lava samples from the Kamakaiʻa Hills of the Southwest Rift Zone of Kīlauea volcano, Island of Hawaiʻi...
Reach-scale stream and riparian habitat from Nevada, 2022-2024 (ver. 4.0, April 2026) Reach-scale stream and riparian habitat from Nevada, 2022-2024 (ver. 4.0, April 2026)
This dataset was created to assess the status of Lahontan cutthroat trout (*Oncorhynchus clarkii henshawi*) habitat. Surveys were conducted within occupied Lahontan cutthroat trout habitat, as designated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Data represent reach-based surveys conducted in accordance with the Lahontan cutthroat trout habitat status assessment (LCTHSA) protocol (USGS)...
Remotely-sensed vegetation status, trends, and elevation for valley bottoms in Lahontan cutthroat trout (Oncorhynchus clarkii henshawi) suitable habitat in the Great Basin with summary data from 2013-2022 Remotely-sensed vegetation status, trends, and elevation for valley bottoms in Lahontan cutthroat trout (Oncorhynchus clarkii henshawi) suitable habitat in the Great Basin with summary data from 2013-2022
This dataset was created using remotely-sensed information within the valley bottom extent of Lahontan cutthroat trout (*Oncorhynchus clarkii henshawi*) suitable habitat as defined and delineated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Each row represents a section of valley bottom for which the attribute was summarized based on information contained in the pixels that overlapped the...
Blacklegged tick nymph densities, tickborne pathogen prevalence, and white-tailed deer densities in eight national parks in the eastern United States from 2014-2022 Blacklegged tick nymph densities, tickborne pathogen prevalence, and white-tailed deer densities in eight national parks in the eastern United States from 2014-2022
The data presented here are blacklegged tick nymph densities, white-tailed deer densities, and Borrelia burgdorferi (causative agent of Lyme disease) prevalences for eight national parks in the eastern United States from 2014-2022.
