Enhanced Terrain Imagery of the Galax 30 x 60 Minute Quadrangle from Lidar-Derived Elevation Models at 3-Meter Resolution Enhanced Terrain Imagery of the Galax 30 x 60 Minute Quadrangle from Lidar-Derived Elevation Models at 3-Meter Resolution

This imagery dataset consists of 3-meter resolution, lidar-derived imagery of the Galax 30 x 60 minute quadrangle in Virginia and North Carolina. The source data used to construct this imagery consists of 1-meter, 1/9 arc-second (3-meter) and 3-feet lidar-derived digital elevation models (DEMs). Lidar point cloud data (LPCs) were used to construct DEMs at a 3-meter resolution in parts of...

Enhanced Terrain Imagery of the Wytheville 30 x 60 Minute Quadrangle from Lidar-Derived Elevation Models at 3-Meter Resolution Enhanced Terrain Imagery of the Wytheville 30 x 60 Minute Quadrangle from Lidar-Derived Elevation Models at 3-Meter Resolution

This imagery dataset consists of 3-meter resolution, lidar-derived imagery of the Wytheville 30 x 60 minute quadrangle in Virginia and North Carolina. The source data used to construct this imagery consists of 1 and 3-meter lidar-derived digital elevation models (DEMs). The lidar source data were compiled from different acquisitions published between 2012 and 2021. The data were...

Hydrograph Separation of Selected Continuous Discharge Sites in the Colombia Plateau Region of the Pacific Northwest Hydrograph Separation of Selected Continuous Discharge Sites in the Colombia Plateau Region of the Pacific Northwest

This data release contains the results from hydrograph separation analysis for 44 separate sites within the Columbia Plateau region of the Pacific Northwest. The hydrograph separation program (HYSEP) (Sloto and Crouse, 1996) was used to perform baseflow separation. HYSEP is an automated approach to traditional graphical hydrograph separation methods and was utilized for this study. For...

2014 Social Vulnerable Index factors compiled for CONUS at the NHDPlusV2 scale 2014 Social Vulnerable Index factors compiled for CONUS at the NHDPlusV2 scale

The released data contain both a csv and parquet file summarizing the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Social Vulnerability Index (SVI), at the NHDPlus V2 stream catchment scale. Dasymetric mapping was utilized to bound 2014 populations to the 2013 National Land Cover Dataset and then trim them to NHDPlus V2 catchments. These produced data are summarized as numbers of people within each...

The California State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) initiated the Oil and Gas Regional Monitoring Program (RMP) to assess effects of oil and gas development on groundwater designated for any beneficial use. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is the technical lead in conducting the RMP through the California Oil, Gas, and Groundwater (COGG) Program, working in...

Concentrations of pesticides in silicone bands placed in National Wildlife Refuges of the Sacramento River Valley of California, 2023 Concentrations of pesticides in silicone bands placed in National Wildlife Refuges of the Sacramento River Valley of California, 2023

To better understand pesticide exposure, silicone band samples were placed in five National Wildlife Refuges in the Sacramento Valley of Northern California. Silicone bands, used as aerial passive sampling collection devices, were flag-pinned half a meter off the ground and deployed for 28 days in the spring of 2023 (total of 176 bands). Upon retrieval, silicone bands were extracted via...
