Use these databases to find data, samples and physical collections that could be helpful to you.
Registry of Scientific Collections (ReSciColl)
ReSciColl contains information about publicly accessible geological, geophysical, and biological collections and data from State Geological Surveys and the U.S. Geological Survey.
These collections contain over 5 million geologic assets located across the country, include rock samples, thin sections, field notebooks, photographs, maps, well logs, datasets, and more.
Core Research Center Well Catalog
This Catalog contains metadata for 9,900 rock cores and 53,000 cuttings wells, which are stored in the USGS Core Research Center repository. The Catalog also contains high-quality images of some cores.

National Index of Borehole Information (NIBI)
NIBI is a centralized index of public subsurface resources. It brings together borehole metadata from multiple sources and connects users with the original data provider.
NSF Ice Core Facility Inventory Database
This catalog contains metadata for the ice cores that are stored in the NSF Ice Core Facility.
