The Colorado River Basin ASIST initiative is exploring new approaches for the USGS to answer complex earth systems questions identified in partnership with stakeholders that cannot be answered through single-discipline approaches. The USGS is exploring science relevant to stakeholders and partners across Science Centers to understand the complexity of drought impacts and compounding hazards.
