Dylan Wichman

Dylan Wichman is a Biological Science Technician that has been involved in animal health research at the Eastern Ecological Science Center since 2024.

Dylan Wichman uses modern molecular tools to evaluate fish health and immune responses in wild populations. His work integrates PCR, molecular histology, Nanostring technology, and next‑generation sequencing to assess disease processes in freshwater fishes. He has experience in aquaculture, field sampling, laboratory diagnostics, workflow and pipeline development, and biostatistical analysis.
