As the National Map Liaison to Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee for the USGS National Geospatial Program User Engagement Office, Eliza uses her expertise on National Map products and services to engage with users and stakeholders.
Eliza began her USGS career as a graduate student intern with the Pennsylvania Water Science Center providing mapping and spatial data analysis support for several National Water Quality Assessment projects. She also served as the project chief for studies characterizing the occurrence of arsenic and radon in groundwater using geospatial and statistical analyses and for a study assessing the prevalence of pesticides and nutrients in groundwater through sampling of domestic wells in agricultural areas.
