Eric Williams

Biography

Eric has been an Eagle Scout, a firefighter, and a military emergency medical technician, as well as a

safety specialist with the State of California. Since joining the USGS in 2004, he has overseen safety

programs for the Pacific Region, and he acts as the regional emergency point of contact. Eric helps Science

Centers comply with safety regulations, provides safety training for employees throughout the USGS, and

helps develop USGS safety policies and procedures.
