Jared T Myers, PhD
Jared T. Myers is a Fisheries Biologist stationed in Ashland, WI.
I have spent nearly the entirety of my career working predominantly on issues pertaining to Lake Superior fisheries. Prior to federal service, I worked for the Wisconsin Dept. of Natural Resources where I focused on stock assessments and stakeholder engagement. During my time with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service I worked with partners across jurisdictional boundaries to help implement an invasive species early detection program and improve conservation of federal trust species. My research focuses on addressing priority knowledge gaps identified by both state and tribal management agencies, leading me to be involved in projects that utilize a wide range of assessment tools and investigative approaches.
