Joel M Galloway
Cooperative Matching Funds Program Manager and Tribal Relations Advisor for the Water Mission Area
Joel Galloway currently serves as the Cooperative Matching Funds Program Manager and Tribal Relations Advisor for the USGS Water Mission Area. He has worked for the USGS for 30 years in several Water Science Centers including North Dakota, Arkansas, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wyoming. Joel also has served as an instructor for the “Field Water-Quality Methods for Groundwater and Surface Water” course for the last 17 years. He has a Master of Science degree in environmental/civil engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from the University of North Dakota. Joel has authored or coauthored over 60 scientific reports and journal articles on water-quality, groundwater, and surface-water topics.
