Martina works in the Palynology Lab as a physical science technician (PST) for the Florence Bascom Geosciences Center.
Martina T. Bixler's undergraduate work focused on the Pleistocene/Holocene transition and Tsuga migration near Prince William Sound in southern Alaska. Her graduate research examined late Holocene human settlement activity and landscape dynamics through pollen and other proxy records from the Lofoten archipelago of Norway.
