Nolan Douglas Milliman
Nolan Milliman is a Hydrologic Technician at the South Atlantic Water Science Center.
My career in the United States Geological Survey began in 2011 working as an intern while studying at Mansfield University. Throughout my internship I was tought many aspects of the job pertaining to stream gaging and maintaining a full field trip. Along with this experience I acquired knowledge regarding gage construction, gage operations, and different tactics to complete operations in the field. This knowledge gave me the skills and confidence needed to be where I am today. After my internship ended, I transitioned into a full time employee where I am now responsible for stream gages across the South central part of New York State. I am thankful for the opportunity that I have worked hard for and I look forward to advancing my career with the USGS.
