Ray Postolovski

Ray is the Deputy Associate for Operations at the National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC) in Denver, Colorado.

NGTOC is an operational component within the USGS National Geospatial Directorate (NGD) which includes the NGTOC and the Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center. The NGTOC provides world-class geospatial technical expertise, research, and customer service for the USGS and the Nation and is responsible for the acquisition, assessment, integration, and publication of geospatial data in support of The National Map.

Ray manages the daily operations of the Hydrography, Elevation, Transportation, Boundaries, and Structures data themes, the TNMCorps, Geographic Names, and US Topo production. In this position, he supports the Associate for Operations to implement the policies and strategies with day-to-day operations, long-range planning, budgets, and assessing and recommending improvements to the organization. This is in support of increasing production efficiency, improving product quality, and serving our partners and constituents.
